What is an AHHC Credential?

An AHHC Credential is a professional certification indicating that you have met specific standards and requirements designed to develop and refine your holistic health coaching skills. It signifies your dedication to upholding strong principles of ethical behavior in holistic health coaching. An AHHC Credential shows your clients and peers that you are committed to the holistic health industry and to developing yourself as a coaching professional.

Holding a credential – especially an AHHC Credential – is extremely important to today’s health coaching clients. A recent study found that a significant majority of clients believe it’s important or very important that their coach holds a certification or credential. Earning an AHHC Credential provides you with instant credibility and increased visibility to prospective clients.

AHHC offers two credentials, corresponding with the quantity of education and experience required to earn them. The credentials are:

Certified Holistic Health Coach (CHHC) – Completed 60 hours of holistic health-specific education and 100 hours of client coaching experience.

Board Certified Holistic Health Coach (BC-HHC) – Hold or have held a CHHC Credential and completed the BC-HHC exam.
